A Hearing on said petition is set for 10:00 o'clock a.m. On the 18th day of December, 2025, before Judge King at 10:00 o'clock in his/her courtroom in the Cherokee County Courthouse. Should you know of some reason why this change of name should not be allowed you must file a written protest in the above styled and numbered cause prior to the above date with the Clerk of this Court. Should you fail to do so, the petition for change of name will be granted as prayed.

Published in the Tahlequah Daily Press on August 13, 2024 PUBLIC NOTICE TO PROPERTY OWNERS CONCERNING PROPOSED BURN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, to owners of lands adjacent to land owned and operated by theOklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation known as the Cherokee Wildlife Management Area that between August 1 and September 30, 2024, the operators of such Wildlife Management Area located in parts of sections 2, 3, 4, 9,&10 T14N, R21 E, and sections 14, 15,16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 29, 30, 34,&35 of T15N, R21E in Cherokee County, Oklahoma intends to burn as a prescribed burning an estimated 2,000 acres of above mentioned property. This notice is pursuant to Title 2, section 16-28.2 requiring written notice be given to all adjacent property owners within 60 days of a prescribed burning. Property owners may contact Brent Morgan at the Department of Wildlife Conservation at 918-931-0432. A complete plan of the proposed prescribed burning can be found at the Forestry Division Office located at 22082 South J.F. Davis Lane, Tahlequah, Ok, or the Woodall Fire Department in Woodall, Ok.
